The Foundation for Professional Practice is led by a Board of Governors (BOG) consisting of seven voting members. Three governors are elected by the ASCE Board of Direction, three governors are elected by the ASFE Board, and one is elected by the vote of the six governors. In addition, the Executive Director of ASCE and the Executive Vice President of ASFE are voting ex-officio members. The Executive Director of FPP is a non-voting ex-officio member.
